This plain text file will contain the following information, first the category followed by its products/services associated with its details if they have them:
You must specify both the name of the category and the name of the product in each idiom you want to use, replacing xx with EN (English), ES (Spanish), DE (German), FR (French), IT (Italian), PT (Portuguese).
Suppose you want your website in English (EN) and Spanish (ES). In addition, you send us two categories (ca1, ca2) and two products for each category (pd1, pd2, pd3, pd4). Then, if you want to group your products pd1 and pd2 in category ca1 and group your products pd3 and pd4 in category ca2, your products.txt file would look like:
ca1-EN-categoryname1
ca1-ES-categoryname1
pd1-EN-productname1
Description: Product/Service description in EN (English)
pd1-ES-productname1
Description: Product/Service description in ES (Spanish)
Country: United States
Regular Price: $50.25
Promotional Price: $42.00
pd2-EN-productname2
Description: Product/Service description in EN (English)
pd2-ES-productname2
Description: Product/Service description in ES (Spanish)
ca2-EN-categoryname2
ca2-ES-categoryname2
pd3-EN-productname3
Description: Product/Service description in EN (English)
pd3-ES-productname3
Description: Product/Service description in ES (Spanish)
Country: Spain
Regular Price: $38.50
pd4-EN-productname4
Description: Product/Service description in EN (English)
pd4-ES-productname4

Country: Canada
Regular Price: $42.00
Categories
Specify a png image file for each category (ca#) included in the plain text file products.txt:
- ca#-imagetitle.png - Minimum size in px: 872 x 297, where # will be 1, 2, 3 and 4 depending on the number of categories in products.txt.
- We will use imagetitle in the filename as the title of the image.
Example ca#-imagetitle.png file
Following our previous example, where we have added two categories (ca1, ca2) to the products.txt file, then we must have one image for each category:
- ca1-imagetitle.png - Image associated with category 1 (ca1).
- ca2-imagetitle.png - Image associated with category 2 (ca2).
Products
Specify a png image file for each product (pd#) included in the plain text file products.txt:
- pd#-imagetitle.png - Minimum size in px: 288 x 265, where # will be a number from 1 to 16 depending on the number of products in products.txt.
- We will use imagetitle in the filename as the title of the image.
Example pd#-imagetitle.png file
Continuing with our initial example, where we have added two products to the product.txt file for each of the two categories (pd1, pd2, pd3, pd4), then we must have one image for each product:
- pd1-imagetitle.png - Image associated with product 1 (pd1)
- pd2-imagetitle.png - Image associated with product 2 (pd2)
- pd3-imagetitle.png - Image associated with product 3 (pd3)
- pd4-imagetitle.png - Image associated with product 4 (pd4)
Promotionals
Specify two png image files, one pu-xx-title.png (promotional up) and one pd-xx-title.png (promotional down):
- pu-xx-imagetitle.png - Minimum size in px: 398 x 289
- pd-xx-imagetitle.png - Minimum size in px: 398 x 289
- We will use imagetitle in the filename as the title of the image.
If the promotional items contain text, just as before, replacing xx with EN (English), ES (Spanish), DE (German), FR (French), IT (Italian), PT (Portuguese).
Example pu-xx-imagetitle.png, pd-xx-imagetitle.png files
Returning to our initial example, where we have decided that our website will be presented in English (EN) and Spanish (ES), then we must have the following files:
- pu-EN-imagetitle.png
- pu-ES-imagetitle.png
- pd-EN-imagetitle.png
- pd-ES-imagetitle.png
Example products.zip file
Taking into account the four examples above, i.e., assuming you want your website in English (EN) and Spanish (ES), which sends us two categories and two products for each category, in addition to the two promotional ones each in English and Spanish, your products.zip compressed file will contain eleven files:
- products.txt
- ca1-imagetitle.png
- ca2-imagetitle.png
- pd1-imagetitle.png
- pd2-imagetitle.png
- pd3-imagetitle.png
- pd4-imagetitle.png
- pu-EN-imagetitle.png
- pu-ES-imagetitle.png
- pd-EN-imagetitle.png
- pd-ES-imagetitle.png
Replace imagetitle with the title of your images.
