GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a cross-platform image editor free software available for GNU/Linux, macOS, Windows and more operating systems.
 
To download and install GIMP follow the steps below:
  1. Go to GIMP Downloads
  2. Select your Operating System if it is different from the displayed option
  3. Click on one of the two Download options: via BitTorrent or directly via HTTP (via the browser)
  4. After the download is complete, double click on the file to begin the installation
 
On the same page GIMP Downloads, a little below the options of download of the program is the GIMP User Manual that can be downloaded and installed in different languages.
